Castle of The Living Dead (1964) - House of Wax: Origins - JanuarLee 2026

What happens when you take House of Wax and go back 100 years? You get this movie. A travelling troupe of performers are asked to perform for Count Drago, a very heavily makeup riddled Christopher Lee, who is not nearly as makeup covered as Donald Sutherland who pulls Eddie Murphy duty and plays 3 roles. But this movie made such an impact on him, it's where he got the name for his son Kiefer. Glad he had fun.
