Cat in the Hat Chase Under Investigation | Calgary News

A woman walking home near Shamrock Drive on August 24th claims she was chased by someone dressed as the Cat in the Hat — thankfully, she escaped unharmed. While costumes aren’t illegal, using one to intimidate or scare someone can constitute criminal harassment. Police are asking anyone with footage from around 9 PM that night — especially from doorbell or dash cams — to come forward. They’re investigating to uncover intent and restore community safety.
