Catch Up with Dr. Walaa AlAbsii

*Send your thoughts, opinions and feedback via voicenote to 0892096423* For some time now I’ve wanted to speak directly to someone impacted by what’s happened over the last six months in Gaza, and lately that desire intensified as I sensed myself and others becoming a little desensitised to the continued horror. Then, I was flicking through tiktok last week and I came across a post from today’s guest, Dr. Walaa AlAbssi, a dentist from Gaza who came to Ireland in September to complete a Masters degree and immediately felt she was the right person to speak to. I was so happy when she agreed to speak to me about her experience of being here, while her family are doing everything they can to survive in Gaza, and what we can do to help.
