Catching a Drunk Cop

JCS-inspired examination of a police officer’s suspected alcoholism after he wrecks his patrol car. On October 27, 2018, Officer Justin Augustine called for help after colliding with a flatbed semi-trailer. When two officers arrived, Augustine appeared uncoordinated and was slurring his words. The patrol car sustained significant damage to the passenger side: the windshield and both passenger-side windows were broken. Augustine claimed he was driving 20 mph, a statement inconsistent with the observed damage. He was taken back to the station and refused to cooperate. #caught #bodycam #StrangeCrimes Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
