Catching up with friend Kris after Texas Winter Storm

from Reckoning · host RECKONING LLC

Britt chat's with her BFF Kristen aka Kris to catch up after a wild start to her year.  We truly just catch up and shoot the shit about how life has been going.  Including going down memory lane talking about our failed candle making business.   Riv (Britt's son) stops in to say hi for a minute.   Kristen discusses the Texas winter storm of February 2021, and her experience in the storm from a northerner that's been in Texas for the last 5+ years.  She shares  how she was without power for 4 days in below freezing weather and how it was different and why then a storm in northern states.  How the people of Texas rallied together and continue to do so.  Things Kris plans on getting to plan for other natural disasters. What she learned from the experience of being in silence without technology. Wanted! For Loving You Dead Reckoning Band “Wanted! For Loving You” is a dark, high-octane rock anthem told from the perspective of a woman pulled into the orbit of a dangerous bad boy—and branded guilty by association. Seduced by swagger, thrill, and the promise of freedom, she mistakes passion for escape and wakes up inside a life she never chose, paying the price for a crime of the heart. Gritty guitars, a driving rhythm, and a fierce vocal performance bring the story to life as love turns reckless and desire leaves fingerprints everywhere. Part cautionary tale, part defiant confession, this is a song about how loving the wrong person can make you wanted—even when you never meant to cross the line. Tangled in Tokyo Dead Reckoning Band “Tangled in Tokyo” is a cinematic, high-energy journey through one of the world’s most mesmerizing cities, where ancient tradition and futuristic chaos don’t collide, they dance. From cherry blossoms drifting past wooden shrine gates to neon streets pulsing with techno bass, the song captures the emotional whiplash of Tokyo in motion. Temple bells echo beside club beats, tea ceremonies exist down the block from robot cafés, and stillness and frenzy share the same breath.Driven by an uplifting chorus and immersive imagery, Tangled in Tokyo isn’t just about seeing the city, it’s about feeling it. The confusion becomes magic, the contrasts become rhythm, and the night teaches you how big life can be if you let go.🌸 Neon nights. Ancient echoes.🌆 Lose yourself in the contradictions, and find your groove. One Riot, One Ranger Dead Reckoning Band A hard-driving anthem forged in Texas dust and defiance. One Riot, One Ranger channels the spirit of lone authority standing against chaos, where one man draws the line and the world answers. Gritty guitars, pounding drums, and a relentless rhythm carry a story of law, legend, and reckoning. From the echoes of the Texas Rangers to the fire of San Jacinto, this track blends history with modern rebellion. It’s not polished country, it’s raw, unapologetic, Southern-fueled rock with attitude. The kind of song that hits like a warning shot and doesn’t ask permission. This is Rebel Blackbeard Rock, built for those who don’t wait for backup. Pleasures in Paris Dead Reckoning Band By daylight, love walks openly along the Seine.By moonlight, Paris keeps different secrets.“Pleasures in Paris” is a mid-tempo, piano-driven pop piece from the Sassy Lasses Moonlight Confessions album, confident, flirtatious, and glowing with after-dark energy. Sable’s voice moves from sunlit romance to midnight sparkle as the city of lights shifts from public affection to private electricity.Café laughter, champagne nights, whispered confessions behind half-drawn curtains, this is Paris when the crowds fade and the real story begins.Day writes the memory.Night writes the truth.
