Catechesis – Providence, Appeals and the Happy Fault – Fr Peter George Flynn OFMConv and John Carlin

Fr Peter George Flynn hands the programme over to John Carlin, president of Radio Maria Ireland, for an unusually plain conversation about money. The station takes no advertising and no sponsorship, and sits down every January, John says, with a blank sheet against running costs of around fifty thousand euro a month. He explains why they keep it that way, and why he has come to think of being dragged along the bottom every few months as a happy fault.
