Catechesis – The Monk Who Saved an Antipope – Fr Peter George Flynn OFMConv

Fr Peter George Flynn tells the story of Grottaferrata, the Basilian monastery near Rome that has never once broken from communion with the Catholic Church. Its founder, St Nilus the Younger, once intervened to save an old school friend turned antipope from execution; centuries later, one of the monastery's own students would be beatified after dying on a death march in communist Albania.
