Catholic Bible Daily Reflections Episode 5 | Genesis Chapters 9 - 10 | After the Flood

Thank you for joining me today for Episode 5, Daily Reflection #5. We are discussing Genesis Chapters 9 and 10, the time period after the flood. We see God’s covenant with Noah and mankind, and the continuation of God’s plan to reconcile the world back to him. There are 2 lines of descendants - one going down an evil path without God and the other living more righteously. God blesses and continues his covenant and promise through Shem, the more righteous path. Sham’s descendants take us later to Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus Christ. Original sin and the devil remain in the world after the flood, and there are fascinating comparisons between Genesis Chapters 9 and 10 and today.
