Catholic Bible Daily Reflections Podcast Episode 14 | Genesis 29 - 30 | A Growing Nation

Welcome to Episode 14 of the Catholic Bible Daily Reflections Podcast (Daily Reflection #14). Today we are discussing Genesis chapters 29 and 30 in the Catholic Bible and reflecting on the events of these chapters and comparing the example and lessons against today’s time. We see Jacob marry 4 wives as he is working and living with his Uncle Laban. These wives bear him 11 sons and 1 daughter, and we will in later chapters see a 12th son added to Jacob’s family, making the 12 Tribes of Israel as we know them in Israelite history. Jacob’s faith is growing and we see God’s protection over Jacob and the growing nation. There are many comparisons and examples we can see from these events helpful to us today. I hope you enjoy today’s podcast episode. ❤️
