CATL: The Bedrock Platform

CATL, the world's leading battery manufacturer, has introduced Bedrock, a new modular platform for electric vehicles (EVs). Bedrock promises high safety, capable of withstanding impacts at speeds of up to 120 km/h, while also reducing development costs (up to 10 million euros) and shortening production times (12-18 months). The platform offers a range of up to 1000 km and is already in use for AVATR vehicles. Additionally, CATL is exploring collaborations with Porsche for a luxury car. This platform represents a significant advancement in integration and efficiency for the electric automotive sector.
