Catu Diosis knows how to throw a party! And you’re invited to the next one. Catu Diosis is a DJ, producer and member of the Ugandan-based Nyege Nyege collective. Nyege Nyege are THE collective to know about, they have been redefining African electronic music since 2015 and continue to push it year on year. Catu is currently based between Germany and Uganda and weaves her knowledge of music with dance and performance to create the most memorable DJ sets for her fans around the world.In this episode Catu Diosis talks to Emily about how she learned how to DJ, getting stranded in Germany during the pandemic, her tour of Brazil and attending the famous Brazilian carnival for the first time. Thanks for listening to Dances For Buildings.
