"Catville Gossip" is a lighthearted tale about Tommy Kat, who is smitten with the popular Tabby Gray. Although Tabby has many admirers vying for her attention – including a silky white Tom, a sporty Mouser, a dancing Black cat, and several others – Tommy Kat is persistent in wanting to marry her. When Tabby initially hesitates, suggesting he ask her father, Tommy convinces her to make up her own mind.
