Caught Up In An Affair

We Want To Hear From YOU!There is a difference between being in a covenant relationship with God and just having an affair with him. We can be deceived into engaging in just an affair with God. An affair feels good, an affair will stroke our egos and even pacify some insecurities. But it is a covenant relationship that leads us to trust God despite the trends of the world, despite our title, income, valleys, and victories. It is in a covenant relationship where we embrace that God loves us totally and completely despite our flaws.It is in our covenant relationship with God that our praise is not based the material assets he has allotted us access to.The closest thing we could probably relate to that dictates a bond even close to a covenant relationship with God is marriage.In a marriage, everyone wants their spouse to be able to look beyond the physical and see who they are at their core. Spouses desire mutual respect and appreciation for the sacrifices and their participation in the desired goals of their marriage.The same principles are consistent in our covenant relationship with God.When was the last time you gave God some praise just for being him?  For creating landscapes that are beautiful backdrops for an existence, we have been given free will to construct and contribute to.When was the last time you gave God some praise for masterfully pulling together the authors of a life manual that addresses everything we could ever face and that transcends time, trends, and opinions?In a covenant relationship,  praise, appreciation, and respect are only of any value if it is selfless.In Psalms 150, the Bible says let everything that has breath praise the Lord.Support the showwww.BibleDeliverance.org
