Cause for concern: Israeli emigration at record levels

Israelis continue to move abroad in record numbers, with about 90,000 Israelis leaving the country for at least three months in 2025, according to a new Tel Aviv University study. The study's authors point to security and political tensions as factors in the elevated level of emigration since 2023, and warn that continuation of the trend could endanger Israel's society, security and economy.
