CB Council Hesitant on Roundabout at Town Entrance

The Crested Butte Town Council discussed the idea of a roundabout and a turning lane for the school at the south entrance to town at Monday night's meeting. Congestion as well as vehicular and pedestrian safety have been identified as problems at this entrance. The staff hopes the council will provide direction soon so the staff can meet the deadline for approval and funding if the roundabout is pursued. Public comment largely opposed the idea of a roundabout.
