CB One Step Closer to STR Tax

The council passed the 1st reading of an ordinance to both tax short-term rentals and allocate that money to an affordable housing fund.  The council could lower the 5% tax approved by a ratio of 4-1 by voters on November 7th, but there is no indication they are planning to do so.  The next reading will be held on December 4th, and the ordinance could be passed at that meeting.  Public comment will be taken.
