Pitkin County Open Space Director Gary Tannenbaum presented the progress on the Pitkin County side to the Crested Butte Town Council this past Monday night. Tannenbaum says multi-modal transportation is part of Governor John Hickenlooper's plan to diversify economies in Colorado. This is a 20-year project, and parts of the trail are already 'in' on both sides.
