CBCF Annual Legislative Conference Opens in Washington

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 54th Annual Legislative Conference is underway in Washington, one of the largest gatherings of Black political power and policy in the nation. This year’s theme, “Made for This Moment,” highlights the push for solutions on issues shaping Black America — from voting rights and the racial wealth gap to diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Organizers say the goal is to turn dialogue into action and ensure policy reflects the lived experiences of Black communities.
