CBD and Pets

Humans are not the only living creatures that benefit from CBD products. Ben has given his dog Snoopy CBD bones to help him calm down while being home alone, among other reasons. All animals, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish, have an endocannabinoid system. CBD is the next big natural medicine. It is in all places, from a gas station to Walmart. This craze would not be happening if CBD did not live up to the hype. We recommend you speak with your veterinarian before giving your animal CBD. We bring up Karen Gellman, a Ph.D. in animal locomotion biomechanics, and her recommendation for dosing with CBD with animals. It is crucial to note your animal's behavior before taking the product and look for behavioral abnormalities when giving your pet CBD. Make sure to start low and slow with your pet to avoid overloading their endocannabinoid system. If you happen to overload your own EC system, there is no need to worry; simply turn yourself into a blanket burrito and cuddle your pet (it releases endorphins!) We discuss different CBD products recommended from Venture Beat's website. We recommend looking up the CBD company you would like to use to ensure good ratings and business practices. When looking for your pet's CBD products, check that the CBD has been tested and is lab certified, organically grown, and has overall good ratings. We recommend joining CBD groups to find out what all the hype is about! Warning: this episode may contain adult humor and content Disclaimer: There are no claims about cannabis in this podcast. The information given is simply recommendations and a way to expand thinking about the plant. Always make sure to look up information, double-check facts, and research the best options for you and your diagnosis. It is important to note that since cannabis is still federally illegal as a schedule 1 drug, make sure that you are looking up the laws according to your state to consume legally.
