I’m Stephanie LI.大家好，我是主持人李莹亮。Coming up on today’s program.重点提要 -Chinese regulator issues first antitrust fines in 2022, signals sustained campaign to ensure market order;-Central China’s Henan Province reported 64 local COVID cases yesterday.Here’s what you need to know about China in the past 24 hours 中国经济要闻The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), China's top market regulator, on Wednesday fined a number of companies, including tech giant Tencent, e-commerce giant Alibaba and video sharing platform Bilibili, for violating the anti-monopoly law, in a fresh sign of China's continued efforts to crack down on illegal activities and ensure market order.The SAMR unveiled 13 cases of violation and slapped a fine of 500,000 yuan per case, with Tencent being fined for a total of 4.5 million yuan for involving in 9 of the cases.The fines came amid China's new stricter regulations targeting monopolistic practices in domestic online platforms.
