CCB #143: Morel is Rising

Sara and Danny are back recapping a wild Memorial Day weekend that saw the Cubs win three out of six against the White Sox and Brewers. They are looking at some great starts from Keegan Thompson and Marcus Stroman, some promising debuts from Matt Swarmer and Anderson Espinoza, a Willson Contreras home run that cleared Waveland and Christopher Morel setting all-time Cubs records two weeks into his major league career. After the break they are previewing the first Cubs-Cardinals series of the year which will be a five game set at Wrigley Field including a bunch of guys who sound like they were made up hitting out of their shoes, a Saturday doubleheader between a bunch of guys TBD, and the ageless Adam Wainwright matching up against Justin Steele on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball (yes, there will be Bingo).
