The CCIM movement began more than 40 years ago with commercial real estate practitioners who wanted to elevate their business practices through education and networking. Riggs Jr., President and CEO of Real Estate Research Corporation (RERC), and publisher of the RERC/CCIM Investment Trends Quarterly. Ken discusses the First Quarter 2007 edition of the ITQ, a joint publication of RERC and CCIM that provides a national perspective on the industry, including insightful narratives with national economic information and statistics; cap rates, pre-tax yield data, major real estate indicators; absorption/vacancy forecasts; national sales data for five major property types; and a commercial forecast from the National Association of Realtors®.
