CDL’s and English

Earning United States citizenship requires significant effort, which is entirely appropriate. Mastering the English language is a fundamental step to integrate and thrive in America. Regrettably, commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) continue to be granted to non-citizens who lack English proficiency. This oversight is resulting in fatal consequences for American citizens, raising the critical question: why are these individuals permitted to hold CDLs?
