Today I’m chatting with a songwriter, worship leader, artist, and person I respect and love greatly. Cecily Hennigan is a force of nature, but more than that, she’s a force of God’s nature wherever she is. Although there may be a few decades between us, there’s a tenacity in her I recognize and love. You will too. Her backbone is Holy Spirit-given and her drive to hone her creative expression is inspiring. I’m so grateful for this conversation because we may start in artistry, but we’re also talking about the reality of racial tension we’re facing. A heart, perspective, and voice like Cecily’s is so crucial to the Body of Christ and I’m so excited for her to share it with you today. It’s moments like this that make me excited for the future.
