Celebrate Canada Day 2025 at the Wallaceburg & District Museum

The spirit of celebration will be in full swing this Canada Day as the Wallaceburg & District Museum invites the community to a day packed with excitement, heritage, and shared joy. Families, friends, and history enthusiasts alike are welcome to take part in a vibrant gathering that brings the past and present together in a fun and meaningful way. Guests can look forward to an array of children’s activities that will keep the little ones entertained, while live entertainment fills the air with music and laughter. One of the event’s highlights includes a visit from the Baldoon Settler Reenactors, offering a unique and engaging glimpse into local history brought to life before your eyes. Board member Gert McClure says they could not make this free event possible without the great volunteers involved and there is still room for more. In between the festivities, attendees are encouraged to explore vendor booths featuring a variety of offerings, hunt for hidden gems at the Thrift Stall, and take a refreshing break at the Cooling Station. A tasty BBQ will be on site to satisfy hungry appetites, and local storytellers will be sharing captivating tales that echo the rich heritage of the region.
