Celebrating the Holidays in Old Town Winchester

Our conversation today with Alex Flanigan, Main Street Program Manager for Old Town Winchester gave us details for several upcoming events happening on the Old Town Walking Mall and surrounding areas. Alex told us about Windependent Weekend, which kicks off after Thanksgiving with extended shopping hours in many Old Town businesses from November 25 through November 27, 2022. She encouraged businesses to skip the big box stores and shop local this holiday season. She talked about the availability of unique gifts, unforgettable experiences, and top-quality service. We also talked about the overall community impact it has and how so much of those shopping dollars stay in our communities.
