Butler has been honored for her numerous community engagement projects, as an artist, lecturer, and teacher, and been exhibited widely, most recently The Ebb and Flow Between Us exhibit, at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa and now as part of a unique collaboration at the Nebraska Furniture Mart.
