Celiscar Transfer Sets Up Baylor-Yale Rivalry | Big 12 Basketball News

Baylor and Yale are set to clash in a high-stakes non-conference showdown in 2026-27, fueled by a spicy transfer twist: Yale’s All-Ivy forward Isaac Celiscar is heading to Waco. A prolific scorer and sharpshooter, Celiscar could slot perfectly as a stretch four for Baylor, opening lanes for their big man. But this isn’t just any matchup — Yale shocked the nation in 2016 by knocking out top-seeded Baylor in the NCAA Tournament, thanks in large part to dominating the boards — a stat Baylor will be determined to erase this time around. With a revamped, rebounding-heavy roster, Baylor’s got a chance to exact revenge — and maybe even turn this transfer into a championship spark.
