Cell Phone Radiation During Pregnancy: New Study Reveals Reproductive Risks for Daughters
from The Healthier Tech Podcast · host Shield Your Body®
A new study reveals that cell phone radiation exposure during pregnancy may harm the reproductive development of female offspring, with the first week of pregnancy showing the most severe effects. Researchers exposed pregnant rats to cell phone radiation at different stages of pregnancy and examined the ovarian development of their female offspring. The findings show significant reductions in hormone levels, decreased healthy egg cell development, and increased cell death in the ovaries of newborn rats. What makes this particularly concerning is that the damage occurred even with standby mode exposure, and the effects were most severe when mothers were exposed during the first week -- often before women even know they're pregnant. In This Episode How maternal cell phone exposure affects reproductive development in offspring Why the first week of pregnancy shows the most severe effects The difference between conversation mode and standby mode exposure Practical steps pregnant women can take to reduce exposure Featured Study Read the full study: Impairment of Oogenesis and Folliculogenesis in Neonatal Rats after Maternal Exposure to Mobile Phones See all studies at shieldyourbody.com/research
