The Principal Piccolo of the Pittsburgh Symphony since 1990, Rhian Kenny introduces music by Nova Scotia's Derek Charke--Lachrymose. Rhian explains her special pride in placing the solo in Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever having recently become an American citizen.
