He has been taught concerning the gospel of Jesus Christ and Luke wants him to have certain assurance concerning what he’s learned. Thus Luke has compiled his book in such a way to bring about that certainty. Main Idea: That Luke’s audience should grow in certainty about what has been fulfilled in the work of Jesus.
