Certain Point of View: The Death of Obi-Wan Kenobi

At the end of his final duel with Darth Vader aboard the first Death Star, Obi-Wan Kenobi sacrifices himself so that our heroes can escape. I believe this scene can be interpreted in two ways: Either Darth Vader murdered his former master, or that former master voluntarily surrendered himself to the Force and died of his own choice.
