Ch. 10 p.71-74 The Memoira of Joseph Smith lll The Reorganisation

Bear with me as I keep getting emotional as I read various words and phrases and then stop to ramble on in trails of thought. This episode is about Joseph Smith lll questioning which church to be involved with. He had previously turned away members of The Reorganisation, not in the mindset at that time but as soon as he was ready, everything came together. The humble members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who had followed the teachings of Joseph Smith Junior and had not wanted to change their beliefs to follow Brigham Young (who theoretically stole the brand name of the church as he took the name but changed the teachings and asked people to be rebaptised!) These people had gathered together and had been praying for a sign and for a seed of Joseph Smith Junior to come forward as prophet of the Reorganisation of The Church Of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints. Joseph Smith lll prayed and reflected and received his answers and attended a conference at Amboy. Meanwhile his stepdad Major Bidamon considered if the saints were to gather together, if he could benefit from it. Joseph Smith lll was bemused by his stepdad having affiliation with religion otherwise.
