Joseph Smith lll speaks of being in favour of abolishing slavery, and also referred to the political publication his dad Joseph Smith junior and prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints had made in 1844 before his death. Joseph Smith lll said he would given the chance, help a slave to escape as well as provide money to escape as well. Joseph Smith lll speaks of bwing impressed by Abraham Lincoln being in favour of abolishing slavery. It is interesting to note Joseph Smith lll study of history and observations and culture speaking of the British way of the first born son gaining everything and leaving the rest poverished and that the state of New Hampshire had been founded by gentry folk who were titled but younger sons, he also mentions his ancestors and the Declaration of Independence.
