Joseph Smith lll shares that slavery was abolished, he shares his observations of people of colour on their way to and from school and im the zct of studying while walking the streets and he felt a sense of pride for them. The was was over, he shared stories of soldiers marching the streets after it was over and of applause. He shares the tragedy of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln in 1865 and what a great man he had been to achieve his cause and that he was the first man to be mourned widely as in across countries with flags at half mast.
