Ch. 12 p.94-98 The Memoirs of President Joseph Smith lll Fall Conferences

The subheadings are : An Overland Trail, Gallands Grove, Homeward, A Sequel, In a Lumbar Wagon and North Star. The episode consists of chatter, singing and poetry on a group journey to conference and the views, eating apples, seeing plums and sharing some with a woman and children turning back from the West to East. There are some musings and discussions on beliefs, and a comical exchange between the group and a blind man who is walking 22 miles home and is offered to sleep over as he wont see to walk in the dark to which he replied that day and night were the same to him and they were amused aa he was so capable of his journey.
