Ch. 13 p.108-112 The Memoirs of President Joseph Smith lll

Joseph Smith lll describes a journey by stage coach to conference and how happy the company at the conference made him although he had been feeling unwell before going and was worried about a brother Redfield who had asked him the question while ill in bed, as to whether he should just let himself go to God as in die, or struggle on. This really made an impression upon Joseph Smith lll's mind. At other times he reflected that people should not perhaps expect to be immediately healed upon being blessed, that they were to be patient at times. I personally think we can believe and ask and leave it up to God to heal us fast or slow or not at all.
