Ch.21 p.185-187 The Memoirs of President Joseph Smith lll A Publishing Venture

The subheadings are A Publishing, A Good Woman Passes, and Obituary. You can bet this episode had me blubbering. The Good Woman was Emma Smith and the Obituaries hers. The publishing venture was of a man who published a book about church members but fell out with a few people, he was a good man but ended up a drunkard and died one. I reflect my sadness as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that no such good words were spoken of her during my decades membership and mention of her was hushed and also mention of her children. They were scorned and we dare not ask any questions. It is wish tears of heartbreak of the injustice that Brigham Young caused these feelings to be circulated about Emma and her family after the death of Joseph Smith Junior her husband. It may take some time but it is already happening where the truth from lies is being revealed but The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints continues to hold onto to the lies presented as absolute truth but DNA reveals no poligamous children born of his paternity yet for Brigham Young and hos associates there are children poligamously born since 1842. My heart breaks for Emma for her name being stained by the rumours of it all and even for the church to go as far as to make a movie based on the lies of Brigham Young and his stories. I am happy that truth is being revealed and I hope that there will be an overhaul of the lds churches to reuinte in truth and no longer hide thr gross misdeeds of a bygone era.
