This episode reminiscences building work and stresses involved of the building of the Herald Offices and of a new home for President Joseph Smith lll and his family. Also some mention of rain and lightning and Bertha putting barrells out to capture rain. The subheadings being: A Missionary Fund, Snow Bound, Correction, A New Herald Office, and A New Home. The Missionary Fund refers to monies sent to the Herald offices for payment of subscriptions of which sometimes people sent more as gifts to be used as necessary and Joseph speaks of setting aside the money for Missionary work, he mentions he is forced to extract monies for travel made to conferences to which he was told would be paid for but which he received no funding and he was out of pocket at the time, later he speaks of being loaned sums of money of portions of land for the church and for himself and traded land with another member.
