The majority of this episode contains Joseph Smith lll's thoughts on his stepdad Major Bidamon. He mentions a time when Major Bidamon was going to abandon his wife Emma, but that Joseph Smith lll reminded him of his duty. There is quite a few mentions of Major Bidamon involved with masonry but that Joseph Smith lll was not part of it. 1891 is the year Major Bidamon died, also the year Joseph Smith lll's married daughter Zaide died leaving a young family behind.
