Familiarity with these traditions helps. - The Structure of Fuṣūṣ al-Ḥikam: Each chapter revolves around a specific prophet, revealing a particular wisdom (ḥikma). In this case, divine Wisdom in the word of Adam will be examined. - Language & Symbolism: Ibn ʿArabī’s language is multilayered—literal, symbolic, and esoteric.
