Chabuk
from Maed in India Hosted by Maed in India
There is excitement in the air as this week’s episode is Maed in India’s 150th episode! A testament to creating a platform for independent artists in India to play their music and talk about it too. Since, this show has always been about discovering music, Mae would like to introduce you to a band she discovered at a gig she went to in Bombay. This band took our breath away (yes, it was a Top Gun moment). So for 150, listen to rap rock act, Chabuk as they talk about playing in numerous bands in the indie scene for over a decade, being middle class thugs, Old Monk & Chaas, and more. They’re called the “Rage Against The Machine of India” and on this episode you get to hear their unrecorded and unreleased music exclusively on the show. SET LIST: Kaun Hip-Hop (00:44 - 04:47) Downmarket (21:12 - 25:41) Pyaar (35:41 - 40:21) Shahenshah (47:42 - 51:33) MUSICIANS: Tanmay Bahulekar - Rapper/Frontman Devanshu Sampat - Drums Michael Lee - Guitars Roop Thomas Philip - Bass Follow Chabuk: Come be our friend: Facebook https://www.facebook.com/maedinindia Instagram https://www.instagram.com/maedinindia/ Twitter https: https://twitter.com/maedinindia CREDITS: Host: Mae Twitter: https://twitter.com/maebemaebe Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/maemariyam/ Recording Engineers: NoFilterAsh Audio Editor Post: Vijay Doiphode Video Directed/Edited: Jishnu 'Short Round' Guha Studio: Island City Studios
