When 16 year old vagabond Denji befriends an adorable chainsaw devil, Pochita, they evolve into inseparable friends that hunt devils to repay Denji's father's debt to the Yakuza. When Denji is betrayed and left for dead, Pochita sacrifices himself to become Denji's heart, and the human/demon hybrid Chainsaw Man is born. Now, Denji is on the radar of a public protection organization known as sector 4, and is manipulated into joining them to protect the city from devils, or be killed as one himself.
