United Nations Secreatry General Ban ki-Moon has paid tribute to the South African singer and humanitarian Yvonne Chaka Chaka, also known as The Princess of Africa, for her activism for the Millenennium Development Goals. At a press conference hosted by the Roll Back Malaria Partnership and the United Nations Childrens Fund, UNICEF, in Johannesburg this morning, Chaka Chaka was recognised for her enduring work and commitment to maternal and child health, particularly for Africans, over the past decade, serving as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassdor. Ban sent a video message that was played at the event. Channel Africa's Jenine Coetzer was also there, and asked Ckaka Chaka how it all started:
