Chamberlayne Actors Theatre moving to new space for its 60th season

The Chamberlayne Actors Theatre is moving to a larger space in Hanover at the Hanover Tavern for its 2024-25 season – the 60th in its history. The new location will offer more seats and enhanced lighting and technical capabilities, CAT officials said in a release. The move is the culmination of CAT’s plan to find a more permanent home. The 2024-25 season will open with Painting Churches (a favorite from the company’s catalog of previous productions directed by Kerrigan Sullivan) Oct. 4-19, followed by the Pulitzer Prize-winning Proof directed by Zachary Owen Feb. 7-23.
