Join us – an Oxford-student initiated group – in these episodes to begin to explore topics related to our 2021-22 journal’s themes: African(a) and Translators Orange Cattle Journey from “Here I am. Send me!”, through the in’s and out’s as well as high's and low's of missionary life. The Translators podcast chronicles the stories of missionaries all over the world. In our first 6 episode season we tell the story of Ben and Rose Savaiko - an American family living in Africa and translating the Bible into languages without Bible translations. The Savaiko’s share what it's like being expats in a foreign land. Story of Doctor Dolittle (Dramatic Reading) by Hugh Lofting Loyal Books John Dolittle, M. D., was once a famous doctor. But then he learned to talk Animal-Language, picked up several interesting pets, and gradually began to lose his patients.
