I think the committee has made a decision right now that Utah is better than Oklahoma On the field football complete team top 10 efficiencies offense defense I think they made a judge with the Oklahoma defense is an anchor and Utah's a better team The resume clearly right now goes to Oklahoma and that should be that should be the tell Utah and Oregon until they lost Were ranked ahead of Oklahoma all year every ranking Utah doesn't have a single win over a team that's ranked and they're still ahead and now you're telling me that Utah could pick up It's best win of the year in a conference championship game in a massive prime time national audience crowd To tell which game when the pack will title pick up the best win and somehow they're gonna fall behind Oklahoma after that Now look it could be a 69 nothing game against Baylor and maybe Utah looks ugly and like and the possibility exists But I think the committee has made it's made it made it made its decision on that and barring a Utah law I think the big 12 needs obviously not only Georgia lose but Utah lose as well So that being said if you can lock up a plus price on Utah to make the playoff Take it Okay, and then if they if they lose then okay, well then I had a money line bet on a six and a half seven point favorite plus money And I lost but if they win now you've got the plus either the plus 120 or the plus 175 Yeah, I guess that that's still out there and into Saturday now I'm my opinion the only thing that can keep Utah out of the playoff is a Georgia win And Georgia's what plus two something at least on the money line, right? That's a six as a seven point dog. That's gotta be two to ten to twenty somewhere around there I would think Georgia's plus two 25.
So now you take Georgia plus 225 on the money line and if Georgia loses then you pick up the Whatever the the scalp is on the Utah Georgia difference of Georgia wins then they're in the playoff and you pick up the plus 225 and you So that's how I would play it. So that's my I think that's actually the first bet that we've actually made towards bet talk On the pot so far. So that's how I would look at play in this All right. I uh, and look there are people out there that disagree and they think Oklahoma get in and that's fine You i'm not counting the table saying all there's no chance Oklahoma gets in Utah is clearly that there are arguments made that Oklahoma's resume is better and the big 12 is better than the Then the pack 12 and we'll see all right.

I'm not everybody cares about the ranking talk but some people like I almost have a feel like I'm drawing a parallel Between Oklahoma this year and Ohio State last year last year. Oklahoma got the benefit of the doubt over Iowa state Because Ohio State was really unimpressive for a good part of last year They had a big blowout loss on the road big favorite of Purdue Oklahoma had the loss of the 24 point favorite Kansas state this year where they were behind much of the game and they made rally in the fourth quarter and they could score the close and had the The onside kick deal They last year Ohio state won a game on the road against the ranked team that they fell behind and were probably very fortunate to win at Penn State This year Oklahoma had the win on the road in the game that they fell behind and were probably fortunate to win They played great in the second half but one Ohio State screwed around last year with unranked teams Michigan State Minnesota Nebraska I mean there are a couple other ones that I think I'm missing as well Like they were not great until the end of the year when they got that statement winning gets Michigan when you and I Probably could have coached him as a home under dog against mission this year Oklahoma Screw around with Iowa State screw around with TCO on their home field two unranked teams One by four points or less both times now they have an opportunity to kind of make that conference championship game statement by Getting a second window for balea will it be enough? I think there's a little bit of a parallel there and I think how sloppy Oklahoma's been over the last month of the year with with since I can't just take loss Close win over over Iowa State close win over TCO Weren't great against it balea in the first step before coming back and winning.
