帕坦古城建於公元三世紀，有阿育王所立的四支石柱，是尼瓦族主要居住地。主要建築由馬拉王朝君主興建，以藝術之城聞名。城中印度教和佛教寺廟眾多，包括尼瓦式木造和印度錫卡拉式石造。印度錫卡拉式的庫裡須拿寺擁有21個小尖塔，八角形建築優美雕刻，是尼泊爾最精緻的石材建築。皇宮是帕坦博物館，成立於1997年，以鑄銅和鍍金純銅作品為特色，展示印度教和佛教神像。博物館結合現代建築元素，被譽為「南亞最美博物館」。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
