Episode 65 There are many times your subconscious mind tries to keep you safe because all it knows is what you've experienced thus far, and if it even remotely thinks what you're about to do is going to put you in harm's way, it's going to find ways to keep you stuck. It's going to make you stop because you're moving toward those fears that come up. “Oh my gosh you can't do that because if you do this will happen or that'll happen, or this might happen.” Change is inevitable. There is so much change in life and business and the world at large that’s out of our control. So being afraid of it, trying to stop it, or trying to avoid it only makes life and the journey more painful because when it's out of your control trying to control it is a useless thing to do. It wastes energy, it wastes time, and it keeps you stuck in small and not in the place you want to be. Don't be afraid to be afraid; embracing the fear doesn't mean you have to like it. It doesn't mean you have to be comfortable with it. What it means is knowing that since **** happens you either embrace it, learn from it, find the good in it and you know, adjust, adapt, and take new steps, new actions to accommodate this new change.
