Changes and Update to Automotive Standards

The automotive sector is undergoing many updates. New APQP and control plans reference manuals were released, and there are many changes of note. Soon there will also be updates to the MSA and SPC reference manuals. Lastly, the IATF 16949 will be updated to reflect the release of ISO 9001, and preparations are underway to start changes to the IATF standard. Today the automotive industry is in the midst of change to hybrid and electric cars and the EV-AV standards such as ASPICE, Functional Safety ISO 26262, Product Cybersecurity ISO 21434 and SOTIF ISO 21448 standards.
